Natural rubber: Natural rubber is a raw material produced from latex, an organic substance obtained from the rubber trees. It has a higher tensile strength than synthetic rubber. Tensile strength is the maximum limit that any material can withstand being stretched out.
Natural Rubber Properties: Natural rubber boasts highly desirable properties, making it an excellent choice for a wide variety of products. One of these properties is a high tensile strength, as mentioned above. In this aspect, natural rubber is durable because it doesn’t break or weaken easily. It’s also flexible and doesn’t lose this ability over time.
Non-slip Rug Pads: Non-slip rug pads are placed under rugs in any setting to prevent slipping if the surface is slick. It also prevents the rug’s edges from rolling up; this way, the rug lies flat. Natural rubber is an excellent material to make rug pads because it has more impressive non-skid qualities than PVC.

Mastication
The process by which the viscosity of natural rubber is reduced to a suitable level, is an important step in the mixing process. Rubber polymers such as Natural Rubber (NR) require mastication to reduce their viscosity/elasticity and to even out variations between different polymer lots.

Reduce Noise and Vibration
Rubber has excellent impact absorbing properties and is a great way to reduce vibrations created from large equipment and appliances. A rubber cushion pad is found on many pieces of equipment for this very reason.

A slick and moist floor is a significant hazard. Some surfaces like tile and laminate are prone to becoming extremely slippery when moist. Accidents that occur as a result of a misplaced foot can be embarrassing, painful, and very costly. A huge part of this safety lies in the rubber material used to make our anti-slip flooring.
